Adrienne’s Window is a 501c3 non profit organization
Our mission is simple
We aim to reduce food insecurities in families with school-aged children and young adults.
We accomplish this through advocacy, service, providing hope and education.

ADVOCACY
We advocate for local policies that help the communities we serve. We support policies the support education, reduce healthcare disparities, and promote food security for children and families.
SERVICE
We partner with community organizations to help reduce food insecurity. We host food drives, distribute healthy foods, and award grants to individuals and organizations in need.

HOPE
We aim to provide encouragement to the families we serve. Our goal is to treat everyone we encounter with love, compassion and respect.
Our goal is to demonstrate dignity for the ‘human person’ and inspire hope for a better tomorrow.
EDUCATION
AWF strives to provide workshops, newsletters and podcasts that focus on topics about eliminating food deserts, healthy food and nutrition, planting food gardens and much more.

We advocate for policies that will help build stronger communities and improve access healthy foods in our neighborhoods.
Twice a year, we award small grants to individuals and organizations that strive to educate and empower our communities about the importance of healthy eating.

VOLUNTEER TO HELP OTHERS

Volunteer with Us, we would love to partner with you.
Join Us as we prepare food baskets for families in Prince George’s County Maryland in time for Thanksgiving .
We are currently looking for volunteers for our Thanksgiving at the Kids’ Table event TM. Baskets will benefit the following partner organizations:
Elizabeth’s House in Laurel, MD
St. Anne’s Center in Hyattsville, MD
Bowie Interfaith Pantry in Bowie, MD

Thanksgiving at The Kids’ Table Mug
Proceeds from the sale of this custom mug will benefit our Thanksgiving Food Baskets to families during the holidays.
